Katie Haney, 88, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 10:40 P.M. Monday, January 6, 2020 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Kathleen Mary Celine Carter Haney was born on March 6, 1931 in Chakradarpur, India. She was a retired bookkeeper.
Mrs. Haney is survived by her daughters, Regina Guess, of Nashville, Tennessee and Lynne Coleman, of Metropolis, Illinois; her son, Eric Haney (Debbie), of Paducah; many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Mrs. Haney was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Karen Bomar.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A. M. Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Karen Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the funeral home.
