Joseph T. “Tommy” Cash, age 75, of Paducah, KY and formerly of Fancy Farm, KY died at 10:10 AM Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah. Tommy was born November 30, 1943 to the late Jullian (Jack) & Mary Jo (Toon) Cash, was a member of the St. John Catholic Church in Paducah, was a retired electrician and maintenance employee from the former Continental General Tire Plant in Mayfield, and was an avid Kentucky Wildcats and NASCAR racing fan.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years – Pam Cash of Paducah; son – Bryan (Kristy) Cash of Fancy Farm; daughter – Kamber Cash of Calvert City, KY; two stepsons – Joshua Forrester of Union City, TN and Ryan (Dani) Leyhue of Nashville, TN; brother – Mike Cash of Mayfield, KY; two sisters – Judy (Jake) Cope of Amherst, VA and Norma Jean (Bill) Mason of Mayfield; five grandchildren - Erica (Brian) Essex, Chase French, Joe-Kason Cash, Kalli Cash and Elle Forrester; nephew – Jason (Samantha) Cope and a great-nephews – Will and Walker Cope.
Tommy was preceded in death by his daughter – Christina Cash Swindler; stepson – Justin Leyhue and a niece – Heather Mason.
A Funeral Mass for Tommy will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Mayfield. Rev. Bruce Fogle will officiate. Friends are invited to call after 5:00 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY
Pallbearers will be – Scott Richards, Brandon Richards, David Toon, Jimmy Reed, Anthony Jones and Alan Webb. Honorary Pallbearers will be - Harold Woodall, Richard Brown, Michael Cromwell, Tom Price, Bobby Threatt, Jeff Poole and Jim Sexton.
