Joann Rubeck, 65, of Metropolis, formerly of Chicago passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at her residence.
Ms. Rubeck was a retired hospital marketing director from the Chicago area and after moving to the Metropolis area she was the secretary at the First United Methodist Church in Metropolis.
Surviving is one sister, Christine Brodnicki of Indianapolis, IN; and two nephews, Mark Brodnicki of St. Louis, MO, Steve Brodnicki of Zeeland, MI; and long time friend and caregiver, Lynn Steiden of Metropolis, IL
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius Rubeck and Ann Janovjak Rubeck; and one aunt, Lilian Janovjak.
Memorial Mass will be at 11:00am on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Rosary Chapel at 711 Ohio St. Paducah, KY with Fr. Stan Hope and Fr. Mujule officiating.
Friends may call from 10:00am to service hour on Saturday at the church.
