Mrs. Henrietta Wemhoener, 97, of Metropolis, IL, formerly of Golconda, IL, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at the Dixon Springs Baptist Church in Golconda, IL, with Rev. Ron Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Temple Hill Cemetery.
Henrietta was a member of the Dixon Springs Baptist Church.
Henrietta is survived by her three daughters, Linda Walter and husband Dale, Helen Faulkner and husband Dale, and Betty Jackson and husband Ron; seven grandchildren, Shannon Bomar and husband Kevin, Allen Walter and wife Jennifer, Kim Enfinger and husband Brad, Jason Faulkner and wife Tiffany, Autumn Jackson, Sindy Hansen and husband Michael, and Joshua Jackson and wife Jessica; 12 great grandchildren, Avie Counts, Gabe Counts, Allison Enfinger, Olivia Hansen, Dallas Bomar, Sofie Walter, Emily Brook Faulkner, Owen Enfinger, Curtis Dale Bomar, Silas Clellan Bomar, Alyssa Grace Counts, and Sarah Lynn Jackson; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Himon and Edna (Fellure) Lear; husband, Warren Dale Wemhoener; son, Dennis Dean Wemhoener, brother, Chancy Gordon Lear; and sister, Viva Reed.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m. at the Dixon Springs Baptist Church.
