Helen Wiedeman, 93, of Metropolis, died Tuesday, February 7, 2017.
Helen was born in Massac County on July 4, 1923 to John F. and Minnie (Teckenbrock) Wehrmeyer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, LaVere Wiedeman; one daughter, Phyllis Miller; and four brothers, Delmar, Raymond, Paul, and Henry Wehrmeyer.
Survivors include her two sons, Bob (Bobbie) Wiedeman of Chatham, IL and Jim (Jean) Wiedeman of Davis, CA; three grandchildren, Liz Barnes and Dale Wiedeman of Chatham, IL, and Sean Wiedeman of Sacramento, CA; and three great-grandchildren James and Lauren Barnes, and Kylee Wiedeman all of Chatham, IL.
Helen was a member of St Paul’s Lutheran Church.
A private burial at Metropolis Masonic Cemetery will follow cremation.
