Harold Lange, age 74, of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 4:31 pm on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis. Rev. Larry Lunsford will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kingston Cemetery in Massac County with military rites.
Harold was retired from Cook Coal Terminal. He attended Powers United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the United States Army serving during Vietnam.
Harold is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda (Copley) Lange of Metropolis, IL; son, David Lange and wife Rhonda of Kevil, KY; grandson, Justin Lange of Kevil, KY; brother, Jerry “Buck” Lange and wife Dorothy of Metropolis, IL; sister, Kay Rude and husband Ed of Campus, IL; step sister, Doris Stites of Paducah, KY; several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Tracy Suttles and wife Cindy of Metropolis, IL and Roy Wetherington of Hamletsburg, IL; sisters-in-law, Margie Lange of Metropolis, IL and Sandy Randles and husband Ted of Brookport, IL.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Horrace W. and Ezra Mae (Heflin) Lange; step mother, Leora Lange; sisters, Martha Wetherington and Scholitta Burrus; brothers, David Lange, Bobby Lange, and Donnie Lange; sister-in-law, Donna Suttles.
Visitation will be held on Saturday evening September 24, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm at the Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis.

Music will be provided by Rhonda Lange, Soloist.
Pallbearers will be David Lange, Ben Suttles, Paul Nelson, Jimmy Lange, Gary Krueger, and Larry Rottmann.
