Etta Mae Watkins Jenkins, age 89 of Paducah passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2020, 6:13 a.m. at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a member of Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the culinary staff.
She was a retired educator from the Paducah Public School System working in the Headstart Program.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Willie Phillips and Albert Jenkins; her parents, Marshall Weatherspoon and Iris Davis Weatherspoon; one son Curtis Watkins, two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by two sons; James Watkins of Jackson, TN; William Eugene Watkins of Paducah; three daughters; Eleanor Watkins-Leggs; Gloria Conner and Deboragh McKenzie all of Paducah; one step-son; Roosevelt Watkins of Los Angeles, CA; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, February 21, 2020, 12 Noon at Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Raynarldo Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
