Donald Gene Woodford, 55, of Paducah, died Thursday morning, January 21st, 2016 at his home with his family by his side.
Donald was a mechanic for Williams Maintenance Co. contracted for CCMA Calvert City. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also worked on small engines, loved keeping a garden, and listening to country music all of the time. He was of the Baptist faith.
Donald is survived by his wife, Velva; his father, George Ray Woodford of Metropolis, IL.; two daughters, Crystal (Chris) Jeter of Benton, and Jacqueline (Matt) Thomasson of Paducah; two sisters, Linda (Sherman) Ray of Paducah, and Tammy (Larry) Underburger of Metropolis, IL.; two brothers, Dallas Woodford of Paducah, and Terry Woodford of Paducah; two grandchildren, Ethan Tate Jeter, and Madilynn Rose Thomasson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his mother, Betty Jean Wittenbach, and one brother, George Baker.
Friends may visit the family on Monday, January 25th, 2016 from 5pm till 8pm at Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday January 26th, 2016 at Lindsey Funeral Home starting at 11am with interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
