Donald G. Fix, 76, of Metropolis passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Baptist Health Louisville with his family by his side.
Mr. Fix was a retired roofer and member of the Metropolis First Baptist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Robin (David) Sloane of Louisville; one son, James (Genevieve) Fix of Missoula, MT; one brother, Walter R. (Marge) Fix of Paducah; one sister, Brenda (Mib) Johnson of Metropolis; four grandchildren, Jonathan (Leona) Horman of Barry, KY, Morgan Zagaruyka of Georgetown, KY, Taylor Davis of Metropolis, Grace Davis of Metropolis; three great-grandchildren, Elijah Zagaruyka of Georgetown, KY, Steven Powell of Berry, KY, Loralynn Horman of Berry, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Henry Fix and Madge Paige Fix; and one special companion, Eloise Davis
Graveside services will be at 11:00am on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Dr. Joe Buchanan officiating. Friends are asked to meet at directly the cemetery.
