Charlotte Ballard, 72, of Metropolis, died Monday morning, January 18th, 2016 at Lourdes Hospital of Paducah.
Before her retirement Charlotte was an executive secretary for the Matsushita Company in Danville, Ky. And a member of The Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Murray, Ky.
She is survived by her husband, Eron Ballard, three children, Kathy Rygh of Odell, IL., Kelly Eickleberry of Metropolis, and Kevin Shoemaker of Grayslake, IL.; one sister, Bernice Ward of Streator, IL.; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Geneva McCumsey Edwards; two sisters and one brother.
A Memorial visitation and service will take place on Saturday, January 23rd, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Pontiac, IL. starting at 10am with service at 11am officiated by Pastor Mary Kay Henson.
