He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sharon Thompson Schnaare of Brookport, Ill.
Two sons, Robert (Ami) Schnaare of Brookport and Brent (Sherri) Schnaare of Salem, VA.
Two daughters, Shelley (John) Buchannan of Evansville, IN. and Melissa (Bernie) Gibbs of Brookport.
Three sisters, Judy (Bob) Wetherington of Brookport; Shelby (Jimmy) Thompson of Brookport; Vickie (Ernie) Conder of Brookport. 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Schnaare was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Cleo Schnaare and Lois Spurlock; one brother, Terry (Big Daddy) Schnaare and one granddaughter Tori McKay Buchannan.
A memorial visitation will be Tuesday September 26, 2017 from 5 :00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lindsey Funeral Home. Memorial services and burial will be private at later date.
