Barbara Jean McClure, age 80 of Paducah passed away at her residence on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 8:39 p.m.
She was a member of St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church.
She retired from Western Baptist Hospital as a Certified Surgical Technician.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lance Cornelius Corbitt and Mae Sue Hall Corbitt, four brothers and one grandson.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years; Leslie H. McClure of Paducah; Two Daughters; Deborah Watts Braden and Karen (Rick) McClure Upton both of Nashville, TN; Three Grandchildren; Two Great- Grandchildren and One Great- Great Granddaughter; Six Sisters; Janice Beal and Mary Carver both of Lexington, TN; Norma Reed, Sheila (Eric) Buford, Ella Butler and Carolyn Porter all of Nashville, TN; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 10, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Alfred Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may also call on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
