Mrs. Yolonda Ann Glisson

Mrs. Yolonda Ann Glisson, age 89, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray.
Mrs.  Glisson was born on February 2, 1937, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Bowden Ford and Ruth (Clark) Ford. She was a homemaker and a member of the South Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She loved to play Bingo at Spring Creek Healthcare.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Glisson; as well as two grandsons, Derek Glisson and Jason Smith.
Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis Smith of Hazel, Kentucky; two sons, Charles Glisson and wife Angie and Bill Glisson and wife Jeanna all of Murray, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Adam Glisson and wife Lisa of Paducah, Kentucky, Bryan Glisson of Murray, Kentucky, Laura Riley and husband Steven of Murray, Kentucky, Jenny Jackson and husband Darren of Hazel, Kentucky, and Leeann Ruetz and husband Keith of Fort Lee, Virginia; 10 great-grandchildren, Brock Glisson, Brittney Glisson, Austin Collins, Rossi Eckels, Ella Randolph, Cora Riley, Reece Riley, Quinn Riley, Halyn Jackson, and Berklee Jackson; one great-great grandchild, Atlas Glisson; as well as her beloved four legged companion, Bear.
A public graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the South Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Rev. Shani Campbell officiating. There will be no public visitation held before the graveside service.
