Mrs. Shirley Tucker

          Mrs. Shirley Bennett Tucker, age 85, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away, Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the Passion and Purpose HomeCare Assisted Living for our SENIORS in Murray, Kentucky.
 
          Mrs. Tucker was born on May 30, 1939, in Almo, Kentucky to the late Norman Bennett and Irene Gore Bennett. Shirley and her husband, Jerry Don were co-owners and operators of Tucker Automotive and Machine Shop. She was also a lifetime member of the Hickory Grove Church of Christ.
 
          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Don Tucker; one sister, Louise Starks; as well as two brothers, Charles Bennett and Dwain Bennett.
 
          Survivors include two sons, Terry Tucker and wife Jan of Murray, Kentucky and Roger Tucker of Nashville, Tennessee; one sister, Norma Jean Glover of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Tamara Bennett and husband Michael and Wesley Tucker and wife Whitney; as well as six great grandchildren, Travis Bennett, Brett Bennett, Charlotte Bennett, Carter Tucker, Brooks Tucker, and Waverley Tucker.
 
          A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 9, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bradley Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 9, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
