Kimberly Ann Ferren

Paducah, KY Kimberly Ann Ferren, 44 years old, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. She was born on November 24, 1981, in Las Vegas, NV, to her parents Charles Frawley Smith Sr. and Wilma Ann (Hammond) Smith.

A devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Wickliffe, Kimberly had a deep love for the Lord and led a number of Bible Studies. She also maintained a daily devotional blog that attracted many followers. Gardening brought her joy, and she enjoyed caring for her flowers. An artist at heart, Kimberly was also an animal lover. She had a talent for cooking and took great pleasure in preparing meals for her family and friends.

Her selfless nature meant she would often go without to support others, especially her three beloved sons. Kimberly worked in private healthcare, caring for others. Her laughter was infectious, and she cherished the time spent with her high school friends.

She is survived by her father, Charles Frawley Smith Sr. of Paducah; her mother, Wilma Ann Smith of Ruskin, Florida; three sons, Alexander Roland Ferren of Kevil, KY, Jacob Walden Ferren of Kevil, KY, and Aiden Christopher Ferren of Kevil, KY; two brothers, Charles Frawley Smith (Zomi Doughty) of Paducah, KY, and Kenneth Franklin Smith of Ruskin, FL; and two nephews, Gabriel Frawley Smith and Kenji Michael Smith.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY, with Rev. Butch Latta officiating.

Interment will follow at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in LaCenter, KY.
