Randy Hooker, a lifelong resident of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at the age of 57 on March 6, 2025. Born on September 17, 1967, Randy was known for his riotous personality - never failing to make anyone laugh or smile - and for often being the best-dressed individual in any setting, with a collection of shoes that never failed to impress.

A passionate sports lover, Randy’s loyalty to the Pittsburgh Steelers was steadfast, and his fondness for the St. Louis Cardinals was unmatched. He cherished the moments spent watching his family play any sport, even soccer. He was proud to belong to the Plumber & Steamfitters Local 184 Union. Above all, his heart belonged to his family, and his role as a grandfather was embraced with love and joy.

Randy’s presence, marked by a lively spirit and a generous heart, will be profoundly missed. His legacy will continue to resonate through the shared memories of the family he so deeply loved and the community that cherished him.

Randy is survived by two loving daughters, Amanda Hooker of Louisville, Kentucky, and Hallie Hooker of Paducah, Kentucky; his two granddaughters, Kendyl Edwards and D’Oria Shumpert; and Amanda’s faithful dog, Stevie, who he adored. He is also survived by his sister, Aimee Thompson (Buzz Vontezmar) of St. Petersburg, Florida; two nieces, Katelin (Daniel) Edwards and Kisten Thompson, both of Florida; and four great-nieces and nephews, Jack, Bella, Elsa, and Elijah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jackie and Sandra Sikes Hooker, and his stepmother, Elizabeth Hooker.

Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services are in charge of arrangements. The family will announce an upcoming memorial celebration.
