Nancy Lou Thomas

Nancy Lou Thomas, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on March 19, 2026, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Paducah.

She was born in Paducah at Riverside Hospital to the late Laymon and Ora Mae Boren Puckett.

Nancy was a woman of many artistic talents. She was a gifted singer, a talented painter, and enjoyed playing the piano. She also loved to travel and experience new places. Nancy was known for her fun-loving spirit, outgoing personality, and quick wit, bringing joy and laughter to those around her.

She is survived by her nieces, Nancy Pierce and Susan Sanderson of Paducah, Kentucky, and her nephew, Larry Sanderson of Paducah, Kentucky, all of whom loved her dearly.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas; her sisters, Mary Jane Sanderson and infant sister Donna Puckett; and her brothers, Joe Puckett and Jim Puckett.

A private graveside service will be held at Brooks Chapel Cemetery in Dexter, Kentucky.
