Linda M. Geiser passed away at the age of 73 on March 27, 2024, at Baptist Health Paducah.
Born on March 26, 1951, in Cairo, Illinois, she was a proud graduate of Carlisle County High School and established herself in a diverse professional life as a skilled beautician, dedicated truck driver, and friendly casino worker.
Linda was deeply rooted in her community, reflected by her active participation as an associate member of Bardwell VFW Post 5409 - Denver Hudgens, the Carlisle County Homemakers, and the Carlisle County Senior Citizens. Her devout commitment to the Baptist faith shaped her life and actions.
A woman of many passions, Linda cherished playing bingo, engaging in crafts and painting, and embracing the joy of travel. Her fierce but loving personality was complemented by her uncanny ability to speak her mind. Above all, her unwavering love for her grandchildren filled her life with great happiness.
Linda is survived by her husband of four years, Don Geiser; one daughter, Tammy Hammond (Jerry) of Arlington; one son, Jamie Bishop of Bardwell; two stepsons, Donald Geiser and Ronald Geiser, both of Cookeville, Tennessee; one sister, Carolyn Willett (Tommy) of Fancy Farm; one brother, Jimmy Moore (Liese) of Paducah; nine grandchildren, Kaytlyn Westbay, Alexis Hammond, Trey Hammond, Nevaeh Hammond, Kaylie Hammond, Jack Hammond, Heather Armour, Thomas Bishop and Hanna Wurth; three great-grandchildren and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William “J.W.” and Martha Moore.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Roselawn Cemetery with Bro. Jim Boaz officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell.
