Kathryn “Kate” Elizabeth Beasley Cox, 39 of Mayfield, Kentucky, leapt into the arms of her Lord on April 16th, 2024 at Mercy Health in Paducah, Kentucky.

Kate is survived by her husband, Nate and three daughters, Lilly Cox 16, Lexie Cox 14, and Emmie Cox 11, also of Mayfield.

She is also survived by her parents, Dr. John and Sherrie Beasley of Mayfield as well as her siblings, Dr. Missy Beasley of Louisville and JJ Beasley (Lexie Foellger) of Mayfield.

Kate is also survived by her in-laws, Keith and Libbi Cox as well as Winston (Jenn), Kyle (Kylie), and Miriah (Zach), all of Elk Horn, Kentucky.

She also leaves her nieces and nephews whom she adored, Hailey, Ames, Kit, Elora and Hawkins Cox, Gentry Warner, and Sloan Beasley.  Kate also wants to recognize her friends and “family” that cared so deeply for her.

Kate was a lifetime member of Mayfield First United Methodist Church and a Mayfield Cardinal through and through.

She worked at Mayfield Radiologist in billing with her beloved mother. She also was very involved in several committees for the Mayfield Independent School District. Her true love though was children. She was happiest keeping her kids, including her oldest, Nate, in line and on task or just watching them do what they loved.

She taught children at church for years with Nate at her side. She had a servants heart above all and would’ve given the shirt off her back if she loved you.

She was her people’s biggest supporter and fiercest defender.

There will be a memorial service held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Christ United Methodist Church in Mayfield,  1322 W Broadway, Mayfield, KY 42066.

Visitation will be held at Christ United Methodist Church from 11:00 AM until the 2:00 PM memorial service time on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

Expressions of sympathy should be sent to Independence Bank, Cox Girls College Fund in care of Nathanael Cox, 100 East College Street, Mayfield, KY 42066, where a college fund is set up for Lilly, Lexie, and Emmie Cox
