Frank Peter Colapinto, born on December 24, 1943, in Bristol, Connecticut, passed away on July 3, 2026, in Paducah, Kentucky, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, devotion, and kindness that touched all who knew him.

Frank lived a life marked by dedication to his family, his faith, his country, and his community. He owned and operated his own business, Frankco & Associates, for many years, and through his work, he earned the respect of those who knew him professionally and personally. He approached every responsibility with determination and pride, and he built his life on the values of honesty, perseverance, and service.

A member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Frank found strength and comfort in his faith. His church community was an important part of his life, and he carried his beliefs with him in the way he treated others. He was known for his generous spirit and for always being willing to help in any way he could. Frank had a heart for others, and he made it a priority to see that the people he loved were cared for and provided for. Frank spent most of his life in California, and with his outgoing spirit, Frank had a multitude of friends that he had to leave behind when he moved to Kentucky. However, in the year that Frank spent in Kentucky, he had just as many friends here as he did back home.

Frank adored his family and took great pride in making sure they were always taken care of. He was a steady presence and a source of support, love, and encouragement. He was always doing for others, often putting the needs of those around him before his own. His family will remember him for his devotion, his strength, and the many ways he showed his love through action.

He had a big personality and always had something funny to say, bringing laughter and light to those around him, making him unforgettable. His sense of humor and easygoing nature made him a joy to be around, and his presence could brighten any room. He enjoyed cooking and took great pleasure in making sure everyone had plenty to eat, a reflection of both his generosity and his love of gathering people together.

In his leisure time, Frank enjoyed hunting and fishing, pastimes that gave him peace and enjoyment throughout his life. He appreciated the outdoors and the simple pleasures that came with time spent in nature. These interests were among the many things that brought him happiness and balance.

Frank also proudly served his country in the United States Army, a duty he carried with honor. His service reflected his sense of responsibility and commitment to something greater than himself. He was proud of that chapter of his life, and it remained an important part of who he was.

Frank is survived by, one daughter, Ann Marie Ford (Daniel) of Eddyville; one sister, Mary Ann Sherman (Tom) of Corona, California; one brother, Gerald Colapinto of Corona, California; six grandchildren, Frank Anthony Colapinto (Natalie), Michael Colapinto, Jillian Colapinto, Jayden Colapinto; Kelsey Von Arx (Damian Sheridan), Joseph Von Arx (Alex); two great-grandchildren, Margaux Alexandre and Giovanna Colapinto.
