Bobby Harper, age 82, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away Monday, October 19, 2026, at his home.
Bobby was born on September 25, 1944, to Clarence Odell Harper and Josephine Rixie Harper. He was a member of the Lebanon Methodist Church and a 1962 graduate of Lone Oak High School and Dorian Private School. Bobby retired as plant superintendent at the Okonite plant in Richmond, Kentucky, which was known for wire and cable production. Bobby was a St. Louis Cardinals baseball and a University of Kentucky Basketball fan. He enjoyed his many hours of fishing with his family and friends
Survivors include his wife, Paula Ann Edwards Harper; three sons, Robert Scott (Doug) Harper, Cincinnati, Ohio, William Shane Harper, and Terrell Stacy Harper, both of Paducah; and one sister, Kimberly Jo (Charles) Lindsey of Paducah, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Austin Terrell Harper and Brianna Shay Harper; one great-grandchild, Baylor Odell Harper; several cousins; two uncles, Larry (Harrietta) Harper and Donnie (Daralea) Harper.
Preceding in death were his parents, Odell and Josephine Harper.
Services will be held Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. until the service at 2:30 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
