Arlie Ottis Carroll, Jr. age 60, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 9:52 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at his home.
Arlie was born on August 16, 1963, to the late Arlington Ottis Carroll Sr. and Martha Vails Carroll. Arlie was of the Baptist faith and was a graduate of Heath High School and attended the Vocational School. Arlie was an employee of the McCracken County School Transportation Department where he served as a bus driver. He loved his bus route and the children that rode his bus. Arlie had a love for motorcycles and enjoyed riding his for many years. His hobbies included reading and bowling. He was a St. Louis Cardinal Baseball fan and a University of Kentucky Basketball fan.
Survivors include two sisters, Barbara Ellis of Paducah, Kentucky, and Linda (Calvin) Crouch of Salem, Kentucky; three nieces, Michele Moyers, Sharon (Joe) Blount, and LeeAnn Lee; two nephews, Marshall Fraser and Kevin Crouch; three great nieces, Rainey (Ryen) Williams, Lakyn Lee and Alexis Lee; one great-nephew, Cayden Lee; one great-great- nephew, Griffin Williams.
Preceding in death were his parents. Arlington Ottis Carroll Sr. and Martha Vails Carroll.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 19, 2024, at the Milner & Orr Funeral of Paducah, with Rev. Calvin Crouch officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Kenton Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
