Angela Sue Reed, 71, of Paducah, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Livingston County Hospital.
Angela was born on August 1, 1954, to the late William ‘Bill’ Voytas and Lucille Herrington Voytas in Paducah.
Throughout her working years, Angela served others with dedication and pride. She worked in cosmetics at Dillard’s, where her friendly manner and eye for detail made her a valued part of the team. She also served as a Pharmacy Clerk at Strawberry Hills Pharmacy, where she helped customers with patience and professionalism. In each role, Angela demonstrated a strong work ethic and a sincere desire to be helpful.
Faith was an important part of Angela’s life. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and also attended Immanuel Baptist Church, where she belonged to the New Beginnings Sunday School Class. Her church involvement reflected her devotion to fellowship and her desire to remain connected to a community of faith.
Angela will be remembered for her kind heart, her dependable nature, and the love she shared with those around her.
Angela is survived by her husband, Daryl Gardner; two daughters, Lorie Reed of Marion, Illinois, and Julie Reed of Tokyo, Japan; a son, Jon Gardner, and his wife, Emily, of Watkinsville, Georgia; three grandchildren, James, Aubrey, and Adalyn; a dear friend, Shelby Pack, and a cousin, Chris Goodman.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Reed, and her parents.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Katie McKown officiating.
There will be no public visitation.
