Loretta Jo Alexander

Loretta Jo Alexander, 78, of Mayfield, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Green Acres in Mayfield.

Ms. Alexander was an avid reader with a deep appreciation for poetry. She enjoyed baking and was always willing to lend a helping hand to her friends. Known for her kindness and generosity, she was a truly giving person who touched the lives of many.

She was survived by four children, Jennie May Dayton, Andrew Maurice (Lisa) Dayton, Ralph Anthony (Mildred Perez) Martinez, and Melanie Rene Martinez; eight grandchildren, Rebecca Dayton, Zachary (Alana) Dayton, Joseph Dayton, Adam Dayton, Ryley Price, Maria Dayton, Arianna Dayton, and Callum Dayton, one sister, Cindy Kay (Ted) Brainard; her first husband, David Maurice Dayton; and several grand dogs that she loved.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Cecil Alexander and Lillian Roberta Alexander.

Per her wishes she will be cremated.
