Loretta Fay McGregor

Loretta McGregor 9/10/43 - 7/18/26 Loretta Fay McGregor, 82, of Paducah, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. Loretta retired from the hospitality industry after having worked many years for Drury Corporation. She so loved being around people that Loretta continued working part time for Kohl’s several years into her retirement. She loved UK Basketball, softball, gymnastics and all sports. Loretta was happiest when surrounded by family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to dance and could cut a rug with the best of them. Loretta was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Edward E. McGregor; parents Harry Wallace and Bessie O’Neil; four siblings: Arlie Wallace, Virginia Norment, Dorothy Dublin, Harry Joe Wallace; and her beloved dog, Jessie. Surviving are her 3 daughters: Lorie (Brian) Strozzo, Paducah; Rhonda McGregor (Steve Hayden), Hickory; Beverly Sims (Quinn), Gallatin. Grandchildren: Kevin (Jona) Taber, Aimee Taber, Sarah (Marquis) McGregor-Munson, Sydney Hayden (Gavin Norsworthy). Great grandchildren: Riley Hooper, Emma Seidler, Amelia Taber. And siblings Violet Trevathan and Terry O’Neil. Visitation will be Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home a Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 12:00 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah, Kentucky.
