Barbara Kay Herr

Barbara Kay Herr, 73, of Eddyville, IL, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 12th, 2024, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah. 

Barbara was born on July 11th, 1950 in Grand Junction, CO to the late Lloyd and Maxine Blaylock. She was a dedicated mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and had a passion for tending to the flowers in her garden.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Dawn Barnes (Toby), of Simpsonville, SC; her brothers, Ron Blaylock (Diane) and Lewis Blaylock (Vickie) both of Grand Junction, CO; her sisters, Karen Brown of Grand Junction, CO and Tammy Neihoff (James) of Eddyville, IL; her cherished grandchildren, Devon Barnes, T.J. Barnes, and Coleman Barnes; and her beloved fur baby, Bella. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tom Lee Herr.

Barbara will be dearly missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved.
