Robert Todd Cross, 49, of Benton, passed away on June 1, 2026, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Mr. Cross was an Assistant Unit Operator for TVA at the Shawnee Fossil Plant and a member of Sharpe Missionary Baptist Church in Benton.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Ellen Cross of Benton; mother, Barbara Cross-Griggs, and stepfather, Aubrey Griggs of Paducah; one son, Landon Eric Paley (Allison) of Calvert City; mother-in-law, Anita Bratcher of Bowling Green; and his beloved cat, Tripwire, affectionately known as “Miss Kitty”.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Cross; and one sister, Tonya Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Hughes Funeral Home in Paducah with Bro. Jarry Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at Wallace Cemetery in Symsonia.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, June 6, 2026, and from 12:00 noon to service time Sunday at the funeral home.
