Rexie “Dale” Williams, 77, of Benton, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Dale was born in Trigg County, Kentucky, on May 30, 1949, to the late John B. Williams and Ernestine “Teene” Williams. He was a hardworking man who appreciated life's simple pleasures and was always willing to lend a helping hand to others.
Dale graduated from North Marshall High School in 1967 and later attended trade school at Paducah Tilghman to pursue a career as an electrician. Following trade school, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. After returning home, he began a long and dedicated career as an electrician with IBEW Local 816 in Paducah.
Dale attended Briensburg Church of Christ, and his faith always remained an important part of his life. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed spending his free time fishing, hunting, shooting skeet, and trap shooting. He also had a special love for animals, especially dogs. Known for his humble, reserved nature, Dale was a friend who could always be counted on. Whether someone needed a helping hand or simply someone they could depend on, Dale was always willing to be there. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
He is survived by his two daughters, Malissa Pruitt of Gilbertsville and Laura Higgins of Grand Rivers; five grandchildren, Trevor Pruitt, Macee Pruitt, Ty Higgins, Mya Higgins, and Ava Higgins; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Williams; and his parents, John B. Williams and Ernestine “Teene” Williams.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, with Bro. Gary Knuckles officiating. Burial will follow at Marshall County Memory Gardens.
