Jeremy D. Meredith, 48, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee, with his mother and stepfather by his side.

Jeremy was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on October 19, 1978, to Jeffrey Meredith and Robin Stamper. By trade, Jeremy was a painter and was quite good at his job. He was the self-proclaimed “paint slinger” and began his twenty-five-year career with his stepdad, naming their business J & C Painting.

Jeremy had a great sense of humor and thrived on making those around him laugh. His energy was magnetic, and he could keep a smile on your face while he joked and danced to whatever tune he had playing on his earbuds at the time. He was a selfless man, always putting others ahead of himself. He was sure to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, and then some. His heart was big, and within that heart, the empathy he carried for others was even bigger.

He took great pride in being a father and cherished every moment spent with his children and grandchildren. He was a passionate Kansas City Chiefs football fan, but nothing rivaled the joy he found in family time—not even the Chiefs. His life revolved around his loved ones, and he held a special pride in the close bond he shared with his mother. To him, being called a "momma’s boy" was a badge of honor.

Jeremy is survived by his mother, Robin Stamper (Chris G.) of Benton, Kentucky; his father, Jeffrey D. Meredith (Dollie) of Jefferson City, Missouri; one daughter, Rayann Riley (Austin) of Whitesboro, Texas; two sons, Kenny Meredith (Kayla) of Paducah, Kentucky, and Zach Meredith of West Paducah, Kentucky; two sisters, Stephanie Barnhart and Melissa Desalvo (Anthony); one brother, Matt Meredith (Justine); and four grandchildren, Levi, Keaton, Coleson, and M.J.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Joshua Stamper.
