Theresa Sheppard

Theresa Ann Thorn Sheppard, 63, of Hardin, passed away on July 10, 2026, at her home.

She was born in Murray on July 4, 1963, to the late Jerry Thorn and the late Shirley Henderson Thorn Myers. Theresa was a proud member of Unity Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was creative and loved to spend her free time crafting or drawing. Theresa had a caring heart and was most fulfilled when taking care of the needs of others; her kindness extended passed people, as she also had a special place in her heart for animals. She was a beach bum and was most happy with her toes in the sand and saltwater in the air. Theresa was blessed with nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; they were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment she was able to spend with them.

She is survived by her son, Blake Norwood (Makenzie) of Calvert City; her daughter, Rhiannon Long (Blake) of Hardin; one brother, Terry Thorn of Hardin; nine grandchildren, Emily Guidry, Haley Garland, Magnolia Norwood, Timothy, Thomas, Taiden, Mazelynn, Eddison, and Coastlyn Long; and two great-grandchildren, Xavier and Avery Guidry.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, July 13, 2026, at Unity Cemetery.

There will not be a public visitation.
