Mac Meadows

Mr. Mac Meadows, age 89 of Benton, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at his home.

Mac was born in Paducah, KY on January 22, 1937 to the late Harvey Meadows and Bertha Mae (Solomon) Meadows. He was a member and former Deacon at Benton Church of Christ. Mac was a veteran of the US Air Force and was retired from Westlake where he worked as a chemical operator. He loved playing golf and was a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, UK Wildcats, and Marshall County basketball.

He is survived by his wife, Dionna Jean (Owens) Meadows; son, Barry Meadows (Kathy) of Cape Girardeau, MO; daughter, Jeanne Lovett (Ronnie) of Benton, KY; sister, Charlotte Reber (Larry) of Eatonton, GA; grandchildren, Brent Lovett (Brooke), Ben Lovett (Paige), Bethany Hayden (Shaun), Travis Meadows (Becky), Taylor Meadows, Maddie Siefert-Dunn (Alex), and great-grandchildren, Madden Lovett, Owen Hayden, Elleigh Hayden, MacKenna Lovett, Hillton Lovett, Riker Keesee, Beau Keesee, River Meadows, Remi Meadows, and Cora Dunn.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Collier Funeral with Mark Ray and Don Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Haltom Cemetery, Benton, KY.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Collier Funeral Home.
