John "Johnny" Collins, Jr.

John "Johnny" Thomas Collins, Jr., 69 of Grand Rivers, Kentucky passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026 at his home.

Johnny was born in Princeton, Kentucky on June 14, 1956 to the late John Thomas Collins, Sr. and Marion "Tidy" Long Collins.  He worked as a painter out of the Local 500 Union.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mona Bush Collins; son, Richard Lee Bush, Jr. (Tammy Sayle); daughter, Crystall Keeling (David) all of Grand Rivers, KY; brother, Adam Franklin "Frank" Long (Jennifer) of Clarksville, TN; sisters, Libby Messer (Wilburn) of Benton, KY and Lori Walz (Derek) of Grand Rivers, KY; two nephews, Brandon Engler (Tera) and Silas Traylor (Madeline); three nieces, Danielle Lee (Daniel), Mariah Hackney (Dean) and Cassandra Long; three grandchildren, John Derrick Presscott (Aaliyah), Alexis Rose Bush and Emma-Leigh Grace Smith; two great-grandchildren, Braylon and EmberLeigh Presscott.

He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Lee Bush and his parents.

A graveside service will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Dixon Cemetery in Grand Rivers, KY with Bro. James Oates officiating.

There will be no public visitation.
