Robert Earl Hardin

Mr. Robert Earl Hardin, 84, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026 at his home in Burna, Ky. Robert was previously employed as a loader for Westvaco. He is survived by; daughter, Shannon (Jeff) Travis of Eddyville, Ky; two sons, James (Misty) Hardin of Burna, Ky. and Richard (Lesa) Reed of Salem, Ky; brothers, David (Holly) Hardin of Joy, Ky, Johnny Hardin of Salem, Ky. and Thomas (Yvonne) Hardin of Fredonia, Ky; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one, great-great grandchild. Robert was preceded in death by; his wife, Dorothy Louise Reed Hardin; sisters, Lana Kay Wheeler and Birdie Jean Smith; mother, Nettie Mae Hardin; granddaughters, Heather Travis and Amy Reed. Funeral services will be 1PM Friday, June 19, 2026 in the chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
