Billy Joe Pierce

Mr. Billy Joe Pierce, 87, of Salem passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, Friday, July 31, 2026 at Salem Springlake Health and Rehabilitation.
He proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy. Following his military service, he retired from West Kentucky Vocational School, where he dedicated many years to teaching automotive technology. A highly skilled and ASE Certified Master Mechanic, he took great pride in sharing his knowledge and helping train future generations of automotive professionals.
Billy is survived by; daughter, Tara Pierce of Paducah; son, Martin (Tracey) Amis of West Paducah; five grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by; his wife, Cynthia Pierce; parents, William and Thelma May Hardin Pierce; sister, Benetta Mae Roudebush and brothers, James Bradford Pierce and Edward M. Pierce.
Funeral services will be Tuesday August 4, 2026 at 11AM in the Chapel of Boyd Funeral Directors and Cremation Services with Bro. Mickey Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Pinkneyville Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 10AM until the funeral hour in the chapel of Boyds Funeral Directors and Cremation Services.
