H L Ford

Mr. H L Ford, 89 of Murray, KY, (Lynn Grove community) passed away Friday, April 26, 2024, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House, Murray, KY.
 
Born in Murray, KY on June 29, 1934, H L was the son of the late Henry Levi and Flora (Bean) Ford. He was a self-employed licensed plumber and electrician and owner of H L Ford Plumbing and Electric. H L honorably served his country in the United States Navy as a Machinist Mate 2. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church and the Praise Sunday School class.
 
Those left behind to cherish memories of H L are his wife of 65 years, Norma Dean (Edwards) Ford of Murray, KY; his son, Keith (Carol) Ford of Madison, AL; his daughter, Shannon E. Ford of Waynesville, NC; grandchildren, Emily (Andrew) Francis and Abbey (Jack) Ford both of Atlanta, GA, Benjamin Ford and Brady Ford both of Huntsville, AL; great grandchildren, Foster and Weslie Jane; and a special family friend, Suzanne Childress of Waynesville, NC.
 
In addition to his parents, H L was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Max Ford; and sisters, Geneva A. Hatcher, Emma Elizabeth Powell, Sue Powell, Jessie Marie Miller, and Shelby Louise Hosford.
 
In accordance with his wishes, H L’s family will honor his life and service privately with burial following in the Salem Cemetery, 1034 Brown’s Grove Rd., Murray, KY.
