The 3rd Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta will be Saturday, May 28th at 11:00 am on the South Lake near the trains.
Guests are encouraged to come out for a good time and great entertainment as boats made of cardboard and duct tape sail across the lake. Some may make it, and others may sink!
It's a family-fun event that is FREE to watch with your general admission. If you have registered your boat, you are set to arrive at 9:00 am. If you would still like to enter a boat, you have until 5:00 pm on Friday, May 27th, to enter your boat.
Also, Military Living History Days are this weekend on the Great Lawn. You will meet re-enactors and also some veterans who have fought in World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam and The Gulf War. There will be modern military vehicles and engineering equipment set up for guests to see. Firing demonstrations will also be at 1:30 & 3:30 pm on the Great Lawn.
