Discovery Park of America is participating in Earth Science Week 2018 from October 16th through October 20th.

The American Geosciences Institute has organized this national and international event since 1998. It's purpose is to help the public gain a better understanding and appreciation for the Earth sciences and to encourage stewardship of the Earth.

This year’s celebration theme is “Earth as Inspiration.” The event will emphasize artistic expression as a unique, powerful opportunity for geoscience education and understanding in the 21st century.

The activities and resources at Discovery Park of America will engage young people and others in exploring the relationship between the arts and the Earth systems. The schedule of activities, classes and events at Discovery Park of America are all free for members or anyone with park admission.
