A Cunningham man was arrested Thursday night after an investigation of a burglary in Melber.

According to the Graves County Sheriff's Department, detectives went to a Melber home on March 16 where the victim said his front door was kicked open and a 55-inch flat screen television was taken, along with an Xbox 360 console and games.

Graves detectives along with the Obion County Sheriff's Department spoke to 18-year-old Clayton Williams, Jr., of Cunningham. He reportedly told investigators where some of the property was taken, and the Xbox console and games were recovered.

Williams was arrested and is being held at the Obion County Jail, pending extradition to Graves County. He will be charged with burglary 2nd degree and criminal mischief 1st degree.

Detectives believe a person in Dyersburg purchased the television from Williams. They encourage that person to contact the Sheriff's Department at 270-247-4501 to arrange the return of stolen property.
