Sen. Rand Paul says Democrats should remember President Bill Clinton's history with a White House intern before criticizing Republicans on women's issues.

Paul, a Kentucky Republican considering a presidential campaign in 2016, said Sunday that Democrats should look at their own party before turning their attention to the GOP. Paul says Clinton took advantage of an intern and is no role model.

As president, Clinton had an affair with intern Monica Lewinsky. The relationship was among the reasons the House cited in voting to impeach Clinton in 1998. The Senate acquitted him.

Paul says "bosses shouldn't prey on young interns in their office."

But he also says that if Hillary Rodham Clinton runs for the White House, Bill Clinton's infidelity shouldn't be used against her.
