A Bardstown man shot at a woman after mistaking her for a clown.
Adam Tingle saw the woman walking her dog Monday afternoon and yelled at her thinking she was a killer clown.
When the woman didn't stop walking, Tingle fired a shot from his rifle which missed the woman and her dog.
Tingle told officers who responded to the scene he fired the shot because recent clown sightings around the country had scared him.
He's now facing a count of second-degree wanton endangerment.
