Carol Bohannon is a 65-year-old from Hawesville. She says she is fed up with politics, empty promises and falsehoods in Washington.
The Independent says she sees no point in fighting other countries oversees and wants to bring U.S. forces home.
She also says she is against any gun control legislation, as well as gay marriage.
Bohannon says after sending her kids
through college that the post-secondary education system needs reform
and that education after high school should be free.
She also mentions in videos posted Monday that she is seeking a running mate, as her original choice has withdrawn from consideration.
