Commissioner Stephen Miller was appointed by Bevin in February. He told The Associated Press on Friday that the state doesn't plan to include monthly premiums as part of its application to the federal government to overhaul the state's Medicaid program. But it will likely reduce benefits to bring the plans in line with the ones offered to state workers.
Bevin has previously said he supports the idea of Medicaid recipients having "skin in the game" by paying monthly premiums. A spokeswoman for the governor said Friday that all options remain open.
