A new poll suggests that the vast majority of Kentuckians want medical marijuana legalized.

The Foundation for a Healthy Kentucky polled over 15-hundred Kentuckians about marijuana, including whether they were in favor or opposed legalizing medical marijuana.

The poll found that 90 percent of Kentuckians want to allow the purchase of weed if a doctor recommends it.

Almost 60-percent supported the use of marijuana under any circumstances.

While it is banned federally, 33 states and the District of Columbia have legalized medical marijuana, while 11 states and D.C. have legalized recreational marijuana.
