Calling the campaign a "grass-roots effort," in spite of huge fundraisers and visits from powerful Democrats Elizabeth Warren and Bill Clinton, Grimes' political director Elizabeth Cantrell said, “Our ‘Road to Fancy Farm’ bus tour is an opportunity to grow our extensive statewide network and share Alison’s action plan and vision for Kentucky’s future.”

Tuesday, July 29: Fayette County
Wednesday, July 30: Nelson, Bullitt, Meade, Breckinridge, Hancock, Daviess Counties
Thursday, July 31: Union, Webster, Crittenden, Livingston, McCracken Counties
Friday, August 1: McCracken and Marshall Counties
Saturday, August 2: Graves County
The Grimes campaign confirmed Monday that for President Bill Clinton will return to the Commonwealth on August 6 for rallies in Lexington and Hazard.
