Dollar General to Add Distribution Centers in KY

Gov. Andy Beshear says Dollar General plans to open two new distribution centers in Kentucky.

He says the retailer plans to add a cold storage facility in Bowling Green, and a warehouse in Walton in northern Kentucky.

The addition of both facilities is expected to create more than 365 jobs.

Construction on both facilities is expected to begin by next month.

The Walton warehouse is expected to be operational by next January and the Bowling Green facility by next summer.
