Breonna Taylor's Mother: I'm Trying to be Patient

Five months after her daughter was shot to death by police, Breonna Taylor’s mother said she is trying to be patient while waiting to hear if the officers will be charged.

But she says it's hard when every day feels like the day her daughter died.

Tamika Palmer appeared with civil rights attorney Ben Crump on the steps of Louisville city hall on Thursday.

The day before, they had met with Kentucky’s attorney general.

Palmer said Attorney General Daniel Cameron told her he doesn’t want to rush the investigation because “he wants to have the right answer.”

She says she is trying to accept that and be patient.
