Kentucky's attorney general has filed a brief with the state Supreme Court against the pension reform law.

Kentucky's legislature passed a law that would require all new teacher hires to be moved into a hybrid pension system.

Attorney General Andy Beshear, who's running for governor, sued to block the law.

Governor Matt Bevin is fighting back, saying the law does not violate the state constitution.

The court is scheduled to hear the case on Sept. 20.
