Authorities are investigating the death of a 4-month-old child who went into cardiac arrest in Kentucky.
The Courier-Journal reports that Louisville Metro Police responded to a call about the incident early Saturday morning.
Police say the child's parents had called 911 and started administering CPR before the fire department arrived and tried to save the child's life.
Police say the child was taken by ambulance to Norton Women's and Children's Hospital, where the 4-month-old was pronounced dead.
Police are calling the case a death investigation pending autopsy results.
