A Mayfield man has been arrested after a disturbance at at Massac County bowling alley.
Metropolis Police were called to a disturbance Saturday at the SuperBowl bowling alley. While enroute, officers were informed that the offender had fled on foot toward US Highway 45, with witnesses following. Brookport Police also responded and reportedly found the man lying in the middle of the highway and detained him.
Witnesses said that 21-year-old Micha J. Moore of Mayfield was intoxicated at the bowling alley, and was not allowed to make further alcohol purchases. He then created a disturbance, and eventually was told to leave. In the process, he allegedly struck one of the employees, and fled.
Moore was charged with aggravated battery and disorderly conduct, and was lodged in the Massac County Detention Center.
