In two separate incidents, two teens were victims of armed robbery, and two others were shot at, while playing the popular cellphone app game "Pokemon Go."

In Lake Villa, IL, police say two teens were walking Thursday night when a car approached and two men got out. One of the men pulled out a gun and they took both teen's cellphones.

In another incident in Palm Coast, FL, two teens were sitting in a car Saturday about 1:30am when several shots were fired at their vehicle. The teens drove off without injury.

The homeowner who fired the shots later said he thought they were burglars.

Law enforcement officials in many locations have been warning gamers to avoid trespassing on private property, and to be aware of their surroundings.

Other players in the first days of the game's availability have had car accidents, and even fallen off a cliff while playing the game.
